ProxMedia is a web design company in Denver, Colorado. We build fast, mobile-first websites for local service businesses, and the job is not a nice-looking page. It is turning someone searching at 9pm into a booked call.
Hand-coded, single-file HTML. No page builder, no theme, no plugin stack to keep patched. That sounds like a technical detail and it is really a speed decision: a site with nothing loading in front of it is fast on a phone on bad signal in a driveway, which is where most of your customers will open it.
Every build ships the same standard underneath the design: an architecture that passes Google’s Core Web Vitals, one linked structured-data graph so Google and AI engines can read what the business actually is, and copy written around what people search rather than what reads well in a brochure.
Two situations, one price. If you have no real website, we build one. If you already have a site and some hard-earned reviews behind it, we move it onto our stack and overhaul it instead of throwing away what is working. What you already have decides the path. It does not change what you pay.
On a takeover we start with a diagnosis rather than a rebuild pitch. Sometimes the honest answer is that a page is performing and should be left alone. We will tell you that even though the rebuild is the bigger invoice.
Our core lane is the trades: roofers, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, general contractors and auto body shops. The same system works for dental offices, med spas, salons and local retail.
The reason we name a lane instead of saying we work with everyone is that emergency search behaves differently from considered search. Someone whose furnace died at 9pm and someone comparing med spas for six weeks need a different page, and a studio that has only built one of the two will give you the wrong one.
Most agencies leave this vague until something goes wrong, so here it is up front. You own your domain, your content, your photos and your brand. ProxMedia owns the code and the hosting, and the site stays on our stack with a monthly care plan. That is what keeps it hosted, secure, monitored and edited.
If you ever want the code itself, there is a flat buyout, the same figure at any tier, written into the agreement rather than negotiated later. Ask us for the number on the call. We would rather you know the exit before you sign than discover it afterwards.
Based in Denver. Primary service area is Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Castle Rock, Lone Tree and Cherry Creek, and we build for clients across the northern Front Range in Greeley, Loveland, Johnstown and Fort Collins.
How long does a website take?
Most Presence sites go live in about two weeks from kickoff, and Authority sites in two to three. That holds as long as photos and content reach us without long gaps. We could ship faster by skipping the local SEO groundwork, and that groundwork is the part that makes the site get found, so we don't skip it.
What does a website cost?
It depends on scope, so we quote per project rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for half the people reading it. Both tiers include a required monthly care plan that keeps the site hosted, secure and maintained. We'll give you the full figure on a 15-minute call with no obligation.
I already have a website. Do I have to start over?
No. A takeover is half of what we do. We move the site onto our stack, fix what's holding it back, and keep the reviews and history you've already earned. Same price as a new build, because what you already have decides the path rather than the cost.
Will you get my rankings back if my traffic dropped?
We'll diagnose why it dropped and fix what's fixable, and we won't promise the rankings back. Google's own guidance says there's no guarantee that changes to a site produce a noticeable impact. Six things commonly cause a traffic drop and only one of them is something we control, so the first job is finding out which one you have.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes. After launch we can add a self-edit editor that lets you click any text to change it, swap photos, and toggle things like a promo bar, and it updates the live site in seconds without being able to break the layout.
Do I own the website?
You own your domain, content, photos and brand. We own the code and the hosting, and the site runs on our stack with a monthly care plan. There's a flat code buyout if you ever want to take the code itself, written into the agreement rather than negotiated later.
We’ll look at your current site on a real phone, tell you what is slowing it down and what is stopping it converting, and give you a straight answer on whether it needs a rebuild or a fix.
