Marketing Agency

A marketing agency
measured in booked jobs.

ProxMedia is a marketing agency in Denver, Colorado, working with local service businesses across the Front Range. We run three things: the website, the search visibility, and the ads. They are one system, and we report on whether the phone rang.

What an agency should be accountable for

Impressions, reach and engagement are real numbers that answer a question you did not ask. The question is whether more of the right people called you this month than last month. If an agency cannot connect its work to that, the reporting is decoration.

So we report the things that connect: which queries you appeared for and where, which pages earned the click, what the ads cost per lead, and what came in through the form and the phone. When a number moved for a reason we cannot prove, we say that instead of taking credit for it.

Cost per lead over cost per clickPositions read per page, not site-wide
  • Reported per page and per query, never off a chart average
  • Cost per lead is the ad metric, not impressions
  • We say when a change is inside the noise instead of claiming it
  • You keep access to your own analytics, ads and Search Console

The three things we actually run

The website is the destination, and nothing upstream works if it is slow or unconvincing. Local SEO is how people find you without paying for the click, and it is the slowest and most durable of the three. Meta ads are the fastest lever and the only one that stops the moment you stop paying.

Run separately they undercut each other, which is why we do not sell ads to someone whose site cannot convert the traffic. That rule costs us the easy upsell and it is the difference between spending your money and wasting it.

WebsiteLocal SEO and AI searchMeta ads
  • Website: the destination everything else depends on
  • Local SEO: slowest to move, hardest for a competitor to undo
  • Meta ads: fastest lever, stops when the spend stops
  • We will not run ads into a site that cannot convert

Meta only, and we will say so

We run Meta ads. We do not run Google Ads, for anybody. An agency that claims every platform is either spreading itself thin or billing you to learn one, and for local service businesses at realistic budgets we would rather be genuinely good at one channel than mediocre across four.

If what you actually need is search advertising, that is a real answer and we will tell you on the call rather than take the work and figure it out on your budget. Ad spend always sits on your own card, so you keep the account and the history if we ever part ways.

Meta onlyYour card, your ad account
  • Meta campaigns built around booked jobs, not reach
  • Pixel and conversion tracking installed and verified before launch
  • Ad spend on your card, account stays yours
  • Month to month, thirty days notice

What we will not do

The same list applies whether the work is a site, search or ads. It costs us deals and we keep it, because every item on it is something that shifts risk onto the client while the agency keeps the invoice.

It is a fair list to read out to whoever you are currently paying.

Worth asking any agency you talk to
  • We will not buy links or authority placements. That is a link scheme.
  • We will not write, trade for, or incentivize reviews without disclosure.
  • We will not report a metric that cannot be tied to leads.
  • We will not run ads to a page we know will not convert.
  • We will not promise you a ranking. Google itself gives no such guarantee.

FAQ

Agency questions, answered straight.

What size business do you work with?

Local service businesses, mostly owner-operated, mostly trades: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, and adjacent niches like auto body, dental and med spa. If you're a national brand or an ecommerce operation, we're the wrong shop and we'll say so on the call.

Do you run Google Ads?

No. We run Meta only, for everybody. We'd rather be genuinely good at one channel than mediocre across four, and if search advertising is what you actually need we'll tell you that instead of taking the work.

Do I have to buy everything at once?

No, and we'd usually talk you out of it. The website comes first because everything else points at it. Search visibility and ads come after it's live and converting. Buying all three on day one mostly means paying for traffic to a page that isn't ready.

How do you report?

Monthly, from Search Console, your ad account and your own lead records. Positions are read per page and per query rather than off the site-wide chart average, because those two numbers are not the same thing and quoting the friendlier one is how a client gets told something improved when it didn't.

Is there a long-term contract?

Ad management is month to month with thirty days notice. Website care plans run as long as the site is hosted with us, since that's what keeps it live, secure and maintained.

What makes you different from the agency I have now?

Probably the list of things we won't do, which is on this page. Beyond that: you keep your own ad account and analytics, ad spend sits on your card, we tell you when a result is inside the noise, and we never promise a ranking. None of that is glamorous. It's just the version that survives contact with your actual numbers.
